IFLASH IPOD FULL
If all that seems a little confusing, feel free to follow along with our live run-through in this week’s episode.įor more gadgets, check out the full episode of Circuit Breaker Live on YouTube. I’m not sure if they’ve fixed it yet, or if the SD version of iFlash has similar issues. I put it together about a year ago and had to use a special build of Rockbox, as the stock kernel would get SATA errors on the SSD. One quick iTunes restore later, and you’ll be good to go! I have an iPod 5G with an iFlash mSATA adaptor and 480G mSATA drive. Then, it’s as simple as cracking open the iPod, carefully removing the power and headphone cables, swapping the battery, swapping the hard drive, reattaching all the wiring, and snapping things back together. An opening tool to pry open the iPod ( again, iFixit has them). That would typically fix the issue and would finally play on my ipod. I would have to eliminate the songs and albums on my itunes and computer to basically download or rip the CD again. A new battery ( iFixit is a good place to get reliable ones) Idk if iFlash has anything to do with it, but I remember sometimes my ipod classic 5.5G would do the same thing with songs and even albums too. Some flash memory (either SD, microSD, Compact Flash, or SATA, depending on your personal preference).Certain adapters fit only specific models.

Please read the full compatibility chart and product pages for exact model information and other limitations.
